How to Complete The Spirit Realm Story Quests Quickly and Efficiently
Players who have completed the Splinters of Possibility Story Quests in Fortnite can now take on the next phase of the Chapter 6 Season 1 questline. This time, the focus is on investigating a mysterious crater, tracking traces of a comet, and obtaining essence from one of the toughest in-game bosses to deliver it to Hope.
This guide will help players quickly complete The Spirit Realm Story Quests, ensuring they are ready for the next chapter as soon as it becomes available.
How to Complete The Spirit Realm Story Quests in Fortnite
Follow these steps to efficiently complete The Spirit Realm Story Quests:
Place Spirit Charms to Investigate the Mysterious Crater (3)
To begin, head to the crater located northeast of Twinkle Terrace. Once there, place three Spirit Charms around the crater to complete this step.
Hit Opponents at Different Named Locations to Track the Comet’s Location (3)
How to Easily Hit Opponents at Different POIs in Fortnite
For players looking to avoid direct PvP combat, this challenge can be completed by attacking hostile NPCs instead. Locations where enemies such as Shogun X, Nightrose, and Demon Warriors spawn are ideal for this task. Since the quest only requires dealing damage rather than eliminating opponents, players can land a hit and move to the next location.
Track Traces of the Comet in the Mountains (3)
Players will need to track comet traces in three different mountainous locations. Here’s where to look:
South of Warrior’s Watch
North of Canyon Crossing
Northeast of Canyon Crossing
East of Foxy Floodgate
Collect Shogun X’s Essence
Once the Battle Bus starts its route, open the map to locate the Shogun X icon. It’s best to land near his location early in the match to attack before he is eliminated by other players. Another option is to wait for the loot island to appear later in the game and engage him then.
Importantly, players do not need to fully eliminate Shogun X—simply dealing damage and collecting his essence is enough. After securing the essence, it’s advisable to retreat to avoid taking excessive damage.
By following these steps, players can efficiently complete The Spirit Realm Story Quests and prepare for the next stage of Fortnite’s evolving storyline.

Investigating the crater, I’ve noticed unusual energy fluctuations. I’ve run a SASSA Status Check, and it’s picking up high levels of cosmic radiation at check status . This could explain the traces of the comet. To proceed, we’ll need to secure the area further. I’ve initiated a SASSA lockdown to prevent any unauthorized access. Once we’ve contained the radiation, we can focus on obtaining the essence from the boss.
